Alive (Sigler novel)
''Alive'' is a 2015 dystopian young adult novel by American author Scott Sigler and the first book in the ''Generations Trilogy''. The book was first published in hardback, e-book, and audiobook format on July 14, 2015 through Del Rey. The second book in the series, ''Alight'', is slated to be released on April 6, 2016.
==Synopsis==
Savage is a teenage girl that awakes to find that she's been placed in a coffin. She has no memory of how she got there or even to her own identity and upon exploration she finds that she's not alone, as several other teenagers have awoken with similar issues with memory loss. One of their only clues to their identity are strange markings on their foreheads and names on their coffins. As the teenagers explore they find that they're not alone and that something is out to get them. Their only option is to continue to flee until they can figure out exactly what their assailants want and how they can best fight them and survive.
